The purpose of the Salpointe Catholic High School cheer team is to promote school spirit and pride, support the school’s teams (cheering football, basketball and various other school sports), compete as athletes, and represent the school and community in a positive and faithful way.  The team will strive to maintain high academic achievement, improve skills, learn life lessons and reach full potential for the season, while always exhibiting positive sportsmanship and attitudes toward other team members, students, coaches, teachers, administrators and parents. Cheer team members are to be role models in behavior, faith, academics and athleticism.
